Summary
You have handled accessibility for your website and mobile apps. What about the documents that you post on the website, and distribute digitally to the consumers? In this session, we will cover various considerations for document accessibility for multiple document types.
Abstract
Your organizations' digital footprint is not limited to just the website and mobile apps. There are multiple documents like MS-Word docs, Powerpoint presentations, PDF documents, Excel files that end up on your website or digitally distributed to your consumers. During this presentation, we will discuss how to prioritize these documents for accessibility, what standards are covered by various document types, various tools that can be used (and more importantly, when) in the document accessibility process. Join us during this session to understand when it is better to develop an HTML alternative to a document versus keeping it in a document format. We also discuss the need for manual assessment and how dependency on the same can be reduced.
