Abstract
The University of Minnesota needed to upgrade all of its PeopleSoft applications for student, finance and HR. The Upgrade, as the program was known, included a significant expansion in self-service applications available to students, faculty and staff. PeopleSoft does not display data in a way that people using adaptive technology (i.e. screen readers, speech recognition) can access it. Working closely with GreyHeller, a software development company that provides mobility and security solutions for PeopleSoft-- including the PeopleMobile® application - we strived to create an accessible format with WCAG 2.0 AA compliance as our goal. Join us to learn from our experience.
