What: AbleDocs would like to invite you to join them on Tuesday November 19, 2019 for a Welcome Reception to help start off this year’s Accessing Higher Ground conference with a fun social event that allows attendees to meet, network or just catch up with friends and colleagues.

Conference attendees will have 2 hours for lunch on Wednesday, November 20th and 1.5 hours on Thursday, November 21st. For those of you would like a slightly facilitated networking opportunity during your lunch hours, we are offering lunch meetups based on your input from a poll sent out in October.

UDUC Mini-Conference on Teaching Accessibility and UD
This series of sessions, offered throughout the main conference (Wednesday – Friday), will focus on topics related to the teaching of accessibility and Universal Design in university curriculum. (Indicated by "UDUC" label in schedule)

EPUB and Accessible Educational Materials Track
In this main conference track, offered Wednesday – Friday, representatives from the publishing industry, early adopters from DSS offices and representatives from the Standards community will talk about how educational materials has been transformed and accessibility improved by the advent of the EPUB standard and the development of EPUB educational materials. Web Access Initiative (WAI) Track
In these sessions, offered Wednesday & Thursday, WAI representatives will discuss and demonstrate the resources and tools available from the WAI initiative. (Indicated by "WAI" label in schedule)
