Inclusive learning experiences focus on understanding what makes an engaged and supported learner, and evaluating and refining curriculum for future success. We want to share our experiences in leveraging the features and tools of leading LMS, to help focus, simplify and strengthen your efforts.
Abstract
Creating inclusive learning experiences involves deep understanding of one's subject area, the strengths and drawbacks of various resource and assessment mediums, insight into what drives student engagement, and techniques for reflecting on and evaluating your curriculum.
Leading LMS provide an opportunity to simplify and structure these efforts. We want to share our experiences working with a broad cross-section of educators passionate about inclusive learning. From simple advice on structuring your syllabi to advanced techniques for building student engagement and programmatic remediation plans, this session should appeal to both new and power LMS users and diverse educators.
