Demonstration of the benefits of Read&Write Gold for students struggling with Reading, Writing and Study Skills, students with Learning Disabilities and English Language Learners. Program works in student’s native working environment, on and off campus, allowing for greater independence.
Abstract
Do you want to have more use out of the assistive technology owned by your school? Trying to come up with a rationale of use to purchase new technology? We will share how some Office of Disability Services at other University’s had Read & Write Gold purchased by other departments by demonstrating how it could be used beyond just students with disabilities. Learn how this program can be utilized, including examples of how we found students using the program, and how to promote the program to students outside of a disability services office.

Beth is the Read&Write Gold Territory Sales Director for OK, TX, CO, AZ, UT and NM. Beth has worked in the Assistive and Educational Technology industry for over 12 years. Previously, Beth worked for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt where she sold special education curriculum software to schools districts and universities in the mid-west. Beth has a B.S. in Medical Illustration from Springfield College.
