Have you ever been in the middle of converting a 200-page PDF and longed for a way to synchronize your spot in a Word Doc with the original text in the PDF? There is a way! I'll show you how to rule the conversion process with an AutoHotkey script and a few keystrokes.
Abstract
AutoHotkey is an application for Windows that allows you to create macros that run across your entire operating system. I'll show you how to use it to synchronize your place in a Word document with both Acrobat and ABBYY PDF software. This allows you to instantly refer to the original text of a PDF during arduous conversion processes, like entire books, math-heavy texts, and pretty much any other PDF-to-Word conversion that you undertake. This tool alone could save you 30 minutes or more when converting large PDFs.
