Summary of Session

Bring your mobile phone and spend the day learning about mobile accessibility! We will review the current state of accessibility features on mobile devices, and the differences across platforms and between websites and applications.

Abstract

How accessible are the iPhone, iPad and Android devices? What sort of accessibility features are available and how does the level of support differ between native applications and websites? In the rapidly evolving mobile environment this can seem unclear. During this hands-on workshop, we will review these features and challenges, and explore tools and techniques for testing mobile websites and applications. The devices may be small, but the topic is big!
