Summary

Meet Everway, formerly Texthelp, a new company focused on neurotechnology in higher ed. This session explores how Everway’s tools, including Read&Write, Equatio, and OrbitNote, support neurodiverse students and promote Universal Design for Learning. Learn how these solutions create more inclusive, accessible learning experiences across campus.

Abstract

Higher education is placing greater focus on recognizing and supporting the diverse ways students think and learn. With increasing awareness of neurodiversity and a continued commitment to Universal Design for Learning (UDL), institutions are seeking tools that help every student thrive, not just those with diagnosed disabilities.

This session introduces Everway, the new brand formerly known as Texthelp, now a company focused on neurotechnology for colleges and universities. Everway’s mission is to create inclusive, flexible, and empowering learning environments through innovative technology designed for all minds.

Attendees will get a first look at the Everway brand and its suite of trusted tools: Read&Write, Equatio, and OrbitNote, each playing a unique role in reducing barriers and enhancing the learning experience. From supporting reading, writing, and math to improving document accessibility and engagement, these tools align with UDL principles and empower students of all abilities.

The session will also explore the broader landscape of neurodiversity in higher ed, examining how students with different cognitive strengths and challenges can be better supported through thoughtful design and inclusive tech. We’ll discuss best practices, real-world campus applications, and how cross-functional teams, from faculty to student support services, can leverage Everway’s solutions to make a measurable impact. Whether you’re familiar with Texthelp or brand new to Everway, this session will provide fresh insight into how neurotechnology can transform the student experience and elevate inclusion across your institution.
