Summary

Jamworks supports students before, during and after class with personalized learning tools that help them study more confidently, improve their grades and stay enrolled. This session explores how Jamworks' responsibly designed, institutionally compliant AI brings course materials, lecture recordings and student notes into one accessible study companion. Learn how scaling a proven accommodations model across the whole student body strengthens UDL, academic confidence and retention.

Abstract

Over 60% of students in a recent survey reported they would have dropped out of higher education if they had not been given access to Jamworks. This session will explore why our personalized learning platform is so effective at driving increased confidence, attainment and persistence.

Learn how Jamworks supports students across their existing learning workflow:

PREPARE (before class): students upload, annotate and ask questions about pre-lecture readings and slides, arriving ready to engage rather than catch up.

CAPTURE (during class): students record lectures, mark key moments and add notes to slides at a comfortable pace.

STUDY (after class): students enhance their notes with personalized suggestions, test their knowledge with flashcards and quizzes and study with a personal AI tutor that can connect the dots across their entire library of recordings, slides and PDF readings.

We'll share data from San Antonio College, where Jamworks has been instrumental in encouraging students to persist by making learning more accessible and manageable, with a clear impact on grades, confidence and degree completion. These findings will be backed up by further case studies and recent student survey data showing that: 96% reported improved confidence, 88% reported improved grades and 66% reported they would have dropped out without Jamworks.

The session will also examine Jamworks' Tiers functionality which allows institutions funded solely for accessibility to activate core features and scale up to campus-wide success features when ready – extending the same trusted support that helps students with accommodations to every learner on campus.

We'll close on the institutional layer: data residency, no training on student data, course-grounded content and a non-plagiarism design that gives faculty and procurement teams a responsible alternative to consumer AI.
