Advanced workshop for those who already know the basics of making accessible documents from Adobe InDesign, the world's leading desktop publishing software. This hands-on lab expands your skills for designing forms. Learn to make PDF forms that are nearly 100% accessible right from InDesign that are correctly tagged and with the correct reading orders for forms. They'll need minimal, if any, remediation afterwards and be ready for scripting by your programmers (if needed). With the most recent version of InDesign, you can now make highly-designed, complex forms faster and more accurately than ever before. Added discussions: Shortcuts and tips for building forms quickly; Design concepts to improve your forms for all users; strategies that maximize accessibility. Workshop demonstrates the use of the latest versions of Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Pro because they have the latest tools for accessible forms. Bevi Chagnon has been active in the standards community for 25 years, and currently is a US Delegate to the ISO committees for PDF and PDF/UA. With a long career in publishing, she’s an expert for Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, MS Office, and accessibility. She’s a professional educator, award-winning designer, and former faculty member at Washington DC-area colleges/universities. Bevi is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and a contributor on many forums, including the Adobe Community Forums where she is an invited Community Expert.
