|PDFs are prevalent across campuses, and present unique challenges to disability services professionals and instructional designers. What are the pros and cons of maintaining PDFs and how can we make them more accessible? We will look at best practices from other universities, and discuss new formats like HTML and ePub and why providing these formats in addition to PDF improves accessibility campus wide. Disability services professionals and Instructional Designers will also learn about new tools that enable them to make scanned documents and images more accessible.
